After Effects Auto-Trace: Masks or SVG Shape Layers?

Choose Auto-Trace masks or editable SVG shape layers for your After Effects logo, adjust tracing settings, and inspect color regions and letter openings.

Amadine Image Trace: Native Trace or Imported SVG?

Amadine has native Image Trace on Mac, iPad, and iPhone. Choose color or monochrome tracing, inspect filled regions, or import an SVG for further path editing.

Boxy SVG Vectorize Image: Trace or Import Paths?

Boxy SVG has a Vectorize generator. Choose tracing, geometric styling, or an imported SVG, then check editable regions and holes before using your artwork.

Can Concepts Vectorize an Image? Export Real Paths

Concepts draws editable strokes, but imported images need tracing. Choose native SVG export or an external conversion while preserving your original artwork.

Can Paint.NET Vectorize an Image? Check the Plugin

Paint.NET edits pixels, but one SVG plugin also traces images. Learn which operation you need, then check that the exported artwork contains editable shapes.

Can Claude Vectorize an Image? SVG Code vs Tracing

Can Claude vectorize an image into an editable SVG? It can write SVG code, but faithful raster tracing is a different job. Learn how to check the result.

Write AI Prompts for Vector Art That Traces Cleanly

A 'vector style' AI prompt gives you a raster that only looks like a vector. Here's how to prompt for art that actually traces into a clean, editable SVG.

Can Midjourney Make SVGs? How to Convert Its Art

Midjourney only outputs raster PNGs, so it can't export an SVG. But its art is a great starting point. Here's how to turn a Midjourney image into a real, clean vector.

AI SVG Generator vs AI Vectorizer: Which Do You Need?

An AI SVG generator makes a new vector from a text prompt. An AI vectorizer converts the image you already have. Here's how to pick, and when you need both.

Can Adobe Firefly Make SVGs? Use Text to Vector

Firefly generates real, editable SVGs, but only in its Text to vector module. Prompting the image generator for an SVG just burns credits. Here's the map.

Can AI Image Generators Make Real Vector SVGs?

Diffusion models paint pixels, so most AI images can never be SVGs. Here's why that's baked into the technology, and the three real routes to vector output.

Why Your SVG Looks Pixelated and How to Fix It

A real SVG can still show pixels: an embedded image inside the file, a viewer that rasterizes, or icon-size softness. Here's the quick diagnosis and each fix.

Can Affinity Designer Vectorize With Image Trace?

Affinity has Image Trace in the unified app. See how it works, why Designer 1 and 2 lack it, its documented limits, and when to compare another tracer.

Can GIMP Vectorize an Image? Try Its Paths Tool

GIMP has no auto-trace: 'Trace Bitmap' is Inkscape's feature. What GIMP's selection-to-path trick can and can't do, and the free routes to a real SVG.

Adobe Express SVG Converter: Features and Limits

What Adobe Express's free SVG converter offers, per its own docs: formats, limits, and the flow. Plus the three checks any SVG should pass, whatever made it.

Why DXF Files Have Too Many Segments for CNC Work

A DXF gets dense when source traces, exported curves, duplicate paths, or fragments become too many entities. Diagnose the cause, then clean it before CAM.

Can Procreate Make SVGs? How to Convert Your Art

Procreate is a raster app, so it can't export an SVG. But it's a great place to draw one. Here's how to turn your Procreate art into a real, scalable vector.

Can Figma Vectorize an Image? What Its AI Tool Does

Figma added a built-in Vectorize tool that traces your image into editable vectors, but it needs a paid plan. Here's what it does, its limits, and the honest answer.

Can Canva Vectorize an Image? What the App Does

Canva traces images through its premium Vectorify app. Compare tracing, AI generation, SVG editing, and export, then check whether your result contains paths.

Can Photoshop Vectorize an Image? Know Its Limits

Photoshop has manual vector tools, but it cannot auto-trace an image into clean paths. See what its work-path trick does and which alternatives to use.

Can Gemini Vectorize an Image? What It Can Do

Gemini can write SVG code from a text prompt, unlike most AI. But it can't trace your uploaded image into a clean, editable SVG. Here's what it can and can't do.

Image Trace vs AI Vectorizer: Choose the Right Tool

Illustrator's Image Trace is built in and hands-on. A dedicated AI vectorizer is cleaner and one-click. An honest, no-hype look at when each one wins.

Can ChatGPT Vectorize an Image? What Works Instead

Can ChatGPT vectorize an image into a clean, editable SVG? Not really. Here's what it can and can't do, the fake-SVG trap, and how to get a real vector.
