What types of images work best for vectorization?

Logos, icons, line art, and flat illustrations with clear shapes and solid colors are good starting points. Photos, gradients, fine textures, and blurry images need closer review. Vectorization interprets the source image rather than copying every pixel.

What's the difference between raster and vector?

Raster images, such as PNG and JPG, store a grid of colored pixels. Their resolution is fixed, so they can look blurry when enlarged. Vector images, such as SVG, describe shapes with paths that stay sharp as you scale them. Conversion does not recover detail missing from the original image.

Can I vectorize AI-generated images?

Yes. You can convert AI-generated raster images into editable SVGs. Artwork with clear shapes and flat colors is a good starting point; photorealistic images and complex gradients need closer review. Check the preview before using the result in your design.
