Start with the illustration
Upload the largest genuine version you can use. Keep small text and the finished invitation layout out of the source when they don't need conversion.

Inspect, then unlock
Compare the preview with your source. Check narrow gaps, petal contours, foliage, and any detail that gives the illustration its character.

Keep names, dates, and typography live. Set the size, margins, bleed, color handling, and final export to match the printer's instructions.
Need a new colorway? Review and edit the converted paths in your design application. A vector file does not automatically reproduce the original artist's layers or group related objects.

Venue outlines, flat floral motifs, illustrated crests, and distinct silhouettes give you contours you can compare and reuse.
Look closely at fine illustration details
Thin stems, tiny architectural marks, pale washes, and crowded foliage may change during tracing. The free preview is the place to decide.
Keep watercolor and photos when texture matters
If paper grain, soft light, or delicate color washes make the image, a sufficiently large raster may be more faithful. Check it at its final print size.
Use only artwork you own or have permission to adapt. Conversion does not grant a new license or permission to redistribute the illustration.

Questions before you convert?
Can I turn a wedding venue illustration into SVG?+
Yes. Upload a clear PNG, JPG, or WebP illustration and inspect the SVG preview. Venue drawings with distinct contours are useful candidates. Check window frames, foliage, roof edges, and other details before reusing the result.
Should I upload the whole invitation?+
Usually, upload just the illustration that needs to scale or change. Keep names, dates, RSVP information, and typography as live text in your stationery layout. Vectorization traces visible letters as shapes; it does not recover editable fonts or text.
Can I use the same SVG on invitations, menus, and welcome signs?+
Yes, in a design tool that supports SVG. Place the reviewed artwork in each layout and check its appearance at the intended size. The stationery arrangements on this page demonstrate reuse; PerfectVector does not generate those layouts.
Does wedding stationery have to be vector?+
No. A sufficiently high-resolution raster image can print well at its intended size. Vector artwork is useful when you need to resize or edit suitable illustration shapes. Follow your printer's requirements for the final layout and file format.
What about watercolor flowers or a photograph of the venue?+
Keep the original raster when soft washes, paper texture, subtle shading, or photographic detail are central to the look. Tracing can flatten those details into color regions. Compare the preview with your original and choose the version that suits the design.
Will the SVG have the original illustrator's layers?+
No. PerfectVector works from visible pixels and reconstructs paths. It does not recover the original layer names, hidden artwork, or the illustrator's intended object structure.
Is the downloaded SVG ready to send to my printer?+
It is an artwork asset, not a finished print layout. Check the printer's required format, dimensions, color setup, bleed, and safe area in your design tool, and review a proof before printing.
Can I convert artwork I bought from an illustrator or marketplace?+
Check that your agreement or license permits the changes and use you intend. Buying a file does not always include permission to modify or redistribute it, and vectorization does not grant those rights.
