SEE THE DIFFERENCE

From fuzzy pixels to perfect vectors.

PerfectVector rebuilds your image as crisp, scalable vector art. Sharp at any size, anywhere.

CHOOSE BY WORKFLOW

Choose by what you need after the trace.

Start with the handoff: an occasional SVG, a recurring color-layer workflow, or a file that must work in a specific app or machine.

Choose PerfectVector when

  • You want to test the actual image and inspect a protected preview before spending a credit.
  • You expect occasional finished SVG downloads instead of an ongoing subscription.
  • A result-by-result unlock fits the way you work.
  • You want to inspect edges, colors, and editable paths before deciding.

Choose SvgTrace when

  • You plan to edit colors and layers inside SvgTrace.
  • You want the unlimited-conversion offer documented in its current Pro plan.
  • You need the commercial-license offer described on its pricing page.
  • Its high-resolution, multi-format export bundle matches your regular production work.

Check before choosing either

  • Flat logos, icons, stickers, and limited-color craft graphics are stronger tracing candidates than photographs.
  • Inspect small text, thin gaps, transparent edges, and overlapping colors at a close zoom.
  • Test the finished file in the app or machine software you plan to use.
  • Confirm that you have the right to convert and use the source artwork.
RUN THE SWITCHING TEST

Compare with your own image in four steps.

  1. 1

    Upload the same raster source

Start with the PNG, JPG, WebP, or other supported image you planned to use in SvgTrace.

  2. 2

    Inspect the protected preview

Check the silhouette, negative space, color regions, and small details before you think about downloading.

  3. 3

Check it against your next step

Decide whether you need an occasional export, repeated color-layer editing, or a file for a specific downstream app.

  4. 4

    Unlock only when it passes

Spend one credit on the finished PerfectVector result only when the preview fits the work you need to do.

WORKFLOW COMPARISON

PerfectVector and SvgTrace handle the handoff differently.

This table compares workflow and access. It does not rank output quality.

Before committingVectorize and inspect a protected preview for free. Spend one credit only if you unlock that finished result. The anonymous converter showed a watermarked preview. In our test, download then asked for a free account.
Editing workflowInspect the generated paths before unlock, then use the editor and export options with the unlocked result. The free converter exposes color controls. SvgTrace documents its full color-layer editor as part of Pro.
Access modelNo subscription is required. The first finished-file unlock costs one credit, and later downloads of that result do not cost another credit.A free converter sits alongside an optional Pro subscription with unlimited conversions and the documented editor bundle.
Best fitOccasional SVG downloads chosen one result at a time after preview.Regular color-layer work that benefits from SvgTrace's current Pro editor and export bundle.
Current access summaryVectorizing and preview are always free and unlimited — you only spend a credit when you download a finished file.Free converter access sits alongside an optional Pro subscription. Check SvgTrace's current pages before choosing a plan.

Use your own image as the deciding test, then inspect the finished file in the app or machine software you plan to use.

Sources and testing notes

We reviewed SvgTrace's current product, pricing, editor, and converter pages, plus Rastrix's public team description. We also uploaded one transparent flat logo and one multicolor craft graphic to both anonymous preview workflows using their default settings.

We stopped before creating a SvgTrace account or buying a plan. We did not inspect a downloaded SvgTrace SVG, compare path or node structure, or name a quality winner.

PerfectVector is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by SvgTrace. SvgTrace is named only to help visitors compare the two workflows.

Before you pick a plan

You're in good company.

I'd tried everything and been let down every time — I'd given up, figuring today's tech just couldn't do this. And you actually built it. If this is real, it's genuinely incredible.

It converts at even better quality than I expected — it preserves the character of the original better than anything else I've tried.
imbee••••via Threads
PerfectVector is impressively fast, and the output quality is already very good. With a bit more refinement it could easily compete with the leading tools.
InPixelSt••••design studiovia email
Way more detailed than I expected. Opening Illustrator to convert every single time was such a chore — bookmarked.

Tried it — it's accurate. Simple images actually expose detail differences more than complex ones do, and this nails them.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Questions before you convert?

Is PerfectVector a free SvgTrace alternative?+
You can vectorize and inspect PerfectVector's protected preview for free and without a usage limit. A finished-file download is not free: the first unlock for that result costs one credit.
How does PerfectVector pricing work?+
Vectorizing and preview are always free and unlimited — you only spend a credit when you download a finished file.
Who develops PerfectVector's vectorization engine?+
PerfectVector is developed by Rastrix, a two-person team with PhD and master's training in deep learning and computer vision. The founders bring seven years of industry experience and have worked full time on the engine since November 2025. The core vectorization algorithms and models are developed in-house.
Does SvgTrace have an SVG editor?+
Yes. SvgTrace's current official pages describe color controls in the converter and a full color-layer editor in Pro. Its editor tutorial documents fill, cut, erase, recolor, reorder, copy, and delete tools.
Which option is better for Cricut or layered color artwork?+
SvgTrace may be the better fit when its integrated color-layer editor is the main requirement. PerfectVector may fit better when you want to test the trace first and unlock results one at a time. Whichever you choose, inspect the finished SVG in Design Space before committing materials to a cut.
Did PerfectVector compare downloaded SVG quality with SvgTrace?+
No. We ran two owner-created flat-art fixtures through both anonymous preview workflows, but we did not create a SvgTrace account or inspect its downloaded SVG. The comparison therefore covers visible preview behavior and documented workflows, not file quality, node count, or editability.
What images should I test first?+
Start with a clear logo, icon, sticker, line drawing, or limited-color craft graphic. Photographs, complex gradients, tiny text, and soft transparent edges need closer review because vectorization interprets them as shapes rather than preserving every pixel.
