Check before choosing either

  • Figma notes that complex or low-resolution images may not vectorize well; that warning is not proof that another tool will handle them better.

When is Figma Vectorize the better choice?+

Can I import a PerfectVector SVG into Figma?+
The finished SVG is the handoff format. Import it into the real Figma file and verify the path structure, fills, transparency, scale, and editing behavior required by that design.
Did PerfectVector prove that its output is better or faster than Figma Vectorize?+
No. We did not complete a retained, repeated same-input benchmark across both products. This page compares documented workflows and product boundaries, not speed or output quality.
Which images should I test carefully?+
Figma's own guidance says complex or low-resolution images may not vectorize well. For either workflow, inspect silhouettes, negative space, small details, transparency, unintended color regions, and the resulting path structure before using the SVG in production.
Who develops PerfectVector's vectorization engine?+
PerfectVector is developed by Rastrix, a two-person team with PhD and master's training in deep learning and computer vision. The founders bring seven years of industry experience, have worked full time on the engine since November 2025, and develop the core vectorization algorithms and models in-house.
