Image requirements

An image converted through PerfectVector MCP must meet all of these requirements:

  • Format: PNG, JPEG, or WebP, with a single frame. Animated images aren't accepted.
  • File size: at most 5 MiB.
  • Dimensions: each side between 100 and 4,096 pixels.

Each conversion takes one image. PerfectVector MCP converts existing images only; it doesn't create images from a text description.

The website accepts more formats than PerfectVector MCP. If your image uses another format, save it as PNG, JPEG, or WebP before you convert it.

Send the original image

Send the image you actually want converted. An image you can see in the conversation isn't always available to PerfectVector:

  • ChatGPT can pass an attached image to PerfectVector, or you can choose the file in the PerfectVector card.
  • Claude can't pass chat attachments to PerfectVector, so choose the file in the PerfectVector card.

See Convert an image in a conversation for both routes. For tips on choosing a good source, see image preparation.

If a file is rejected

Read the message from PerfectVector, check the file against the requirements above, then send a corrected file. Don't keep starting new conversions to work around an error you don't understand.

See troubleshooting for common fixes. For browser-based conversion, visit the PerfectVector tools directory.
